This session focuses on processes defining the accretion and evolution of continental and oceanic crust, ranging from high- to low-grade metamorphic reactions, to crustal melting, magmatic crust differentiation and crystallization, reactive melt percolation. The session encourages a multi-methodological and multi-scale approach, from the micro- to the atomic scale, combining optical and electron microscopies with diffraction and spectroscopic methods.
