Mineralogy plays a vital role in understanding the structure, properties, and behaviour of minerals, which are the building blocks of Earth and other Rocky Bodies in the Solar System. By studying the arrangement of atoms in crystals, scientists can develop advanced materials, improve resource extraction, and create sustainable technologies. This knowledge aids in addressing global challenges such as energy efficiency and environmental conservation, and, for future generations, it provides a foundation for innovation in emerging fields while fostering a deeper appreciation for the natural world complexity and resources. We seek for contributions belonging to research fields ranging from mineralogical crystallography to crystal chemistry, mineral systematics and the study of mineral gems, as well as investigations of minerals formed under any natural conditions. Studies emphasizing the critical role of Mineralogy in advancing our understanding of the planet will be highly valued.
