Proposed and coordinated by the Italian Commission on Stratigraphy (CIS), this Session welcomes contributions from the wide range of stratigraphic approaches and methodologies useful for understanding the impact of climate changes on the sedimentary record. Contributions on integrated stratigraphic studies and their application to the prediction of future scenarios, such as those arising from the the ongoing CARG Project (Geological Map of Italy at the 1:50:000 scale), are encouraged.
