The session focuses on the interdisciplinary study of hydrogeology and geochemistry of mineral and thermal waters, addressing their origins, distribution, and interactions with geological formations. Researchers will present case studies and findings related to the hydrogeological characterization of hydrothermal systems. Emphasis will be placed on the chemical composition of these waters, including trace elements and isotopes, and how they can be used to investigate hydrothermal reservoirs. Topics may also cover the potential environmental impacts of mineral and thermal water exploitation, their role in sustainable resource management, and their applications in various industries, including geothermal energy and health therapies. This session aims to foster discussion and collaboration among experts from diverse fields such as hydrogeology, geochemistry, and environmental science.
